Summer Activities at Whistler
A world-renowned skiing destination, Whistler also draws summer enthusiasts for a variety of warm-weather pastimes (and in fact, Blackcomb Mountain boasts year-round skiing). There are five outstanding golf courses in or near the resort, and some of the best lift-access mountain biking in the world. In addition, the Valley Trail system leads to first-class hiking in the Coast Mountain Range. Other summer activities include aerial sightseeing, backcountry tours, bungee jumping, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, heli-rafting, horseback riding, river rafting, rock climbing, and sailing.
And after a day of outdoor activity, why not pamper yourself with a luxurious spa treatment? Here are a few of our favorite outfitters and service providers.
Whistler Golf Courses
Five outstanding golf courses are located in or near the Whistler Valley, including the lakeside Nicklaus North Golf Course, a 6,908-yard, par 71 course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
